Welcome to Employee Relations & Projects
Our team is essential in advising and shaping labour law best practices throughout Novonesis and both legacy companies. You will work closely with hiring managers site managers and vendors collaborating with a range of stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and consistent approaches across the organization.
In this role youll make an impact
You will be involved in harmonizing employment law and employee relations across the organization supporting both legacy companies as we move towards unified standards. Your work will include collaborating with colleagues from P&O and other internal partners contributing to professional development and ensuring that knowledge is shared effectively. You will be a part of a multi-disciplinary specialist team working alongside three legal professionals. You will also be responsible for managing cases from start to finish and supporting less experienced team members.
In addition some of your key tasks will include:
- Acting as a trusted legal advisor to leaders on complex employment law and employee relations matters
- Independently handling and assessing complex employee cases including involvement in negotiations
- Providing well-founded legal assessments and pragmatic business-oriented recommendations
- Supporting and actively contributing to post-merger integration and harmonization projects ensuring legally sound and practical outcomes during transitions
- Contributing to the development of employment law and employee relations standards through training guidance and hands-on support
You will work closely with colleagues across the business including hiring managers site managers and Union representatives in line with our hybrid working model and office-first approach ensuring professional standards and consistent practices.
We expect you to bring
- A legal degree () and lawyer qualification
- Experience with Industry Collective Agreements (Industriens Overenskomster) is an advantage.
- Experience gained from working in an employer organization or in a larger corporate environment would be an advantage.
Additionally we expect you to demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities negotiation skills a pragmatic approach to complex issues and the ability to share knowledge and support capability building across the organization. We also expect you to have a high degree in business acumen.
You should feel comfortable listening to and understanding different perspectives working in a collaborative way and taking initiative in driving tasks forward in a structured way. Your approach should be easygoing and solution-focused always aiming for the best outcomes for the organization.
