This role is categorized as on-site. The successful candidate is expected to report to the Advanced Technical Center in Shanghai full time.

Chinas automotive market is evolving rapidly with new models and cutting-edge technologies emerging at an unprecedented pace. Many of these technologies are not only shaping the local landscape but also gaining global attention. Positioned within this dynamic environment the GMCE Business Intelligence team has better access to firsthand insights into competitive products and technologies. This proximity enables the team to deliver timely and valuable intelligence to global headquarters supporting strategic decision-making.

What Youll Do

• Project Leadership & Execution: Lead the full project lifecycle for BI initiatives. Develop detailed project plans define scope allocate resources track milestones and ensure projects are delivered on time within budget and meet customer requirement.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business stakeholders technical teams and senior management. Gather requirements define project scope and provide regular updates on project status risks and milestones to ensure alignment.
• BI Solution Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of BI solutions such as newsletters reports benchmarking processes. Ensure solutions integrate seamlessly with existing data infrastructure and adhere to data governance and quality standards.
• Team Coordination & Collaboration: Coordinate and collaborate with data analysts engineers and other cross-functional teams in China and global regions. Foster a high-performance work environment and promote best practices in project management and BI implementation.
• Risk & Issue Management: Proactively identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans to ensure smooth project execution.

Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; Master preferred.
• 10 years of experience in business planning program management or strategy roles ideally in automotive or technology sectors.
• Keen insight into automotive industry trends and market hotpots. Experience with automotive product planning or project management is advantageous.
• Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
