Job Overview

Pulse is recruiting an experienced Specialist Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join the Childrens Community Therapy Service based at Green Wrythe Lane within the Epsom & St Helier service. This role is ideal for clinicians with strong paediatric experience particularly in dysphagia complex communication needs and AAC.

You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering highquality assessment and intervention for children with a wide range of developmental and complex needs across community clinics homes and educational settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children with: Dysphagia Complex communication needs AAC requirements
• Manage a varied paediatric caseload across community settings
• Work collaboratively with families schools and MDT colleagues
• Contribute to service development and pathway improvement
• Provide supervision and support to junior SLTs and assistants
• Maintain accurate highquality clinical documentation

Requirements

• HCPCregistered Speech & Language Therapist
• Strong paediatric clinical experience
• Skills in dysphagia complex needs and/or AAC
• Ability to work independently within a community setting
• Excellent communication and MDT collaboration skills
• Experience supervising junior staff (desirable)
