Job Overview
Pulse is recruiting an experienced Specialist Paediatric Speech & Language Therapist to join the Childrens Community Therapy Service based at Green Wrythe Lane within the Epsom & St Helier service. This role is ideal for clinicians with strong paediatric experience particularly in dysphagia complex communication needs and AAC.
You will work as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team delivering highquality assessment and intervention for children with a wide range of developmental and complex needs across community clinics homes and educational settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist assessment and intervention for children with: Dysphagia Complex communication needs AAC requirements
- Manage a varied paediatric caseload across community settings
- Work collaboratively with families schools and MDT colleagues
- Contribute to service development and pathway improvement
- Provide supervision and support to junior SLTs and assistants
- Maintain accurate highquality clinical documentation
Requirements
- HCPCregistered Speech & Language Therapist
- Strong paediatric clinical experience
- Skills in dysphagia complex needs and/or AAC
- Ability to work independently within a community setting
- Excellent communication and MDT collaboration skills
- Experience supervising junior staff (desirable)
