Role Definition:
As a Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) Specialist you will play a critical role in driving enterprise transformation through Strategic Portfolio Management. This role goes beyond tool implementation it requires strong experience in organizational change transformation leadership and adoption of new operating models supported by modern SPM platforms and AI-enabled capabilities.
You will lead and influence change across business IT and delivery teams while supporting the implementation scaling and continuous improvement of SPM tools such as Broadcom Clarity Planview and ServiceNow SPM. You will work closely with senior leaders PMOs and external partners to ensure sustainable adoption of new ways of working.
What you will do:
- Lead and support the end-to-end transformation of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) including governance prioritization funding capacity and value management
- Drive change management strategy and execution for SPM initiatives ensuring effective adoption across teams functions and leadership levels
- Act as a change agent influencing behaviors decision-making processes and governance forums to embed SPM as a core enterprise capability
- Lead or support the implementation configuration and scaling of SPM tools (Clarity Planview ServiceNow SPM or equivalent)
- Translate strategic operational and portfolio requirements into tool configurations workflows data models and reporting structures
- Partner with business leaders PMOs IT finance and external vendors to align process technology and organizational change
- Design and deliver training communication plans and adoption strategies to support new SPM processes and tools
- Develop and maintain portfolio dashboards KPIs value metrics and executive-level insights including scenario modeling and prioritization views
- Apply data analytics and AI-enabled insights to portfolio decision-making forecasting and scenario analysis
- Identify transformation risks resistance points and adoption gaps proactively proposing mitigation and improvement plans
- Support data migration integrations testing and deployment with a strong focus on data quality and decision readiness
What you will have:
Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) & Transformation Experience: Proven senior-level experience leading or supporting SPM transformations including operating model changes governance redesign and adoption across large or complex organizations.
Change Management Expertise: Strong background in organizational change management including stakeholder engagement communication training and sustained adoption of new processes and tools
SPM Tools & Platforms: Hands-on experience implementing configuring or leading adoption of Broadcom Clarity Planview ServiceNow SPM or equivalent enterprise portfolio platforms
AI & Data-Driven Decision Support: Experience applying AI advanced analytics or decision-support capabilities to portfolio management forecasting prioritization or scenario modeling
Business & Technical Translation: Ability to translate strategic objectives and transformation goals into system configurations data structures and actionable insights
Cross-Functional Leadership: Proven ability to influence and collaborate with executives PMOs IT finance delivery teams and external vendors
Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex portfolio data and independently drive solutions
Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior leadership and facilitate governance and decision forums
Top Candidates Will Also:
Bring deep experience in enterprise transformation initiatives not limited to technology but including operating model and ways-of-working changes
Have hands-on exposure to AI-enabled features in SPM tools (e.g. predictive forecasting scenario optimization automated insights)
Possess certifications such as SAFe LPM Prosci PMP PfMP ITIL or similar
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related fields.
English Proficiency: Advanced English (written and spoken)
