Job Summary

Min 10 years experience at least five 5 years of which must have been in a senior maintenance role in the execution of major projects and / or performance improvement projects in shipyard.
BSc in mechanical electrical or process engineering.
Membership of an appropriate international professional body.
Registered as (or formally working towards) Incorporated Engineer or equivalent.
Lead the Maintenance function to deliver both breakdown and preventive maintenance across all operational equipment utilities and infrastructure.
Ensure maximum equipment availability and reliability through a multi-skilled maintenance approach aligning with the organizations deliberate maintenance strategy.
All activities should be carried out in compliance with OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) specifications and safety standards to support sustainable operations and continuous improvement.
Oversee and ensure the effective execution of all maintenance functions including proactive planning scheduling and timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Enhance site operational effectiveness by developing and enforcing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) improving project delivery increasing Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF) and reducing downtime.
Lead and manage multi-disciplinary maintenance teams to deliver technical excellence and industry best practices.
Develop implement and maintain maintenance policies procedures and systems aligned with modern maintenance strategies.
Drive departmental performance by managing delivery against Continuous Improvement KPIs.
Promote and implement modern maintenance principles by identifying operational deficiencies recommending improvements in policies processes training and work practices.
Act as a mentor and leader within the maintenance function fostering a culture of accountability learning and performance excellence.
