About the company

Remote World is partnering with a UK-based media company to hire for this role. They run a fast-growing YouTube channel in the personal finance space with 400000 subscribers producing 23 long-form videos per week covering investing budgeting and financial independence.

The role

Youll edit long-form YouTube videos (1025 minutes) from raw talking-head footage adding b-roll graphics captions and sound design to produce polished engaging content. Youll work closely with the presenter and creative director and youll have a real say in pacing and structure.

What youll do

• Edit long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to publish-ready final cut
• Source and integrate b-roll stock footage and screen recordings
• Create on-brand lower thirds title cards and animated graphics
• Add captions and optimise audio levels throughout
• Maintain consistent editing style across all channel content

What youll need

• Portfolio of long-form YouTube or documentary-style edited videos
• Proficient in Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro
• Strong sense of pacing you know how to keep a viewer watching
• Reliable the channel runs on a consistent publishing schedule

Nice to have

• Experience editing personal finance business or educational content
• Motion graphics skills in After Effects
• Understanding of YouTube retention and thumbnail psychology
