About the company
Remote World is partnering with a US-based content production studio to hire for this role. They produce YouTube videos brand content and short-form social clips for creators and businesses across the US and UK and demand for their output is growing fast.
The role
Youll edit raw footage into polished engaging content long-form YouTube videos TikTok and Reels clips and brand explainer videos. Youll work from briefs and assets manage your own queue and hit deadlines consistently.
What youll do
- Edit long-form YouTube videos (1025 min) from footage and scripts
- Create short-form cuts for TikTok Reels and YouTube Shorts
- Add captions lower thirds graphics and B-roll
- Export in correct formats and specs for each platform
- Give clear feedback when a brief isnt working dont just guess
What youll need
- Proficiency in Premiere Pro DaVinci Resolve or CapCut
- Strong sense of pacing rhythm and visual storytelling
- Fast editor a 10-minute video within a working day
- Reliable internet for transferring large files
Nice to have
- Motion graphics skills (After Effects or similar)
- Experience with colour grading
- Background in Nollywood music video or creator content editing
