Data Architect

Our Client is seeking a Senior Data Architect / Modeller to support the ONE ID 2.0 modernization initiative under the Digital Excellence in Health transformation program. The project focuses on modernizing provincial identity and access management platforms and related healthcare data systems.

The consultant will lead legacy data discovery data quality assessment migration mapping and transformation activities while collaborating with architecture integration governance and security teams.

• Lead discovery and assessment of legacy identity provider credential organization and device data

• Develop data inventories dictionaries conceptual models and ER diagrams

• Perform data profiling and data quality analysis across complex systems

• Create detailed source-to-target mappings for migration initiatives

• Define transformation cleansing normalization and validation rules

• Support migration planning sequencing and data verification activities

• Collaborate with integration teams on payloads mappings and validation requirements

• Support integration testing system testing and UAT activities

• Produce technical and business documentation for stakeholders

• Ensure compliance with healthcare data governance privacy and security standards

• Present findings risks and recommendations to leadership teams

• 5 years of experience as a Data Architect Data Specialist or similar role

• Strong experience in complex multi-system enterprise environments

• Hands-on experience with:

  • Legacy data discovery

  • Data profiling

  • Data quality assessment

  • Source-to-target data mappings

• Strong understanding of:

  • Conceptual logical and physical data models

  • ER modelling

  • SQL

• Experience with data quality/profiling tools such as:

  • Informatica

  • Talend

  • Collibra

  • Great Expectations

• Experience working with:

  • Healthcare data

  • Identity data

  • HL7 v2 / FHIR standards

  • Provider registries

• Strong stakeholder communication and documentation skills

• Experience collaborating with architecture governance integration and security teams

• IAM or IGA experience

• Knowledge of:

  • SAML

  • OAuth

  • OIDC

  • Federation concepts

• Experience with device identity or credential data

• Public sector or government project experience

• MDM knowledge

• Exposure to:

  • Mulesoft

  • Boomi

  • Informatica Cloud

  • Azure

  • AWS

  • GCP
