Business Analyst – Payments (Cross-Border & RTP)

cleint is currently seeks a Business Analyst Payments (Cross-Border & RTP) to join our team in New York NY. Hybrid 3-4 days/week is must.

NOTES: Payments with experience in either of Fedwire ACH or FedNow

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in payments specifically in cross-border payments and domestic real-time payments (RTP). The ideal candidate will be skilled in translating business needs into clear detailed functional requirements and working closely with stakeholders across product technology and operations teams. Experience with ACH payment systems is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

Gather analyze and document business and functional requirements for payment-related initiatives

Work closely with stakeholders to understand needs in cross-border payments and domestic RTP systems

Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications user stories and process flows

Collaborate with technology teams to ensure accurate implementation of requirements

Support end-to-end project lifecycle including requirement validation testing and deployment

Conduct gap analysis and propose solutions aligned with business objectives

Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry standards in payments

Facilitate workshops stakeholder meetings and requirement review sessions

Required Qualifications

8 years experience as a Business Analyst in the payments domain

Strong knowledge of cross-border payments and domestic real-time payment (RTP) systems

Expertise in writing clear and detailed functional requirements and documentation

Experience working with stakeholders across business and technology teams

Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills

Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies
