Summary:
Assemble install seal rig inspect and complete structural and system components for aerospace programs including theand defense aircraft platforms.
Perform assembly and installation operations using engineering drawings work instructions process specifications and quality requirements to ensure fit form and function compliance.
Conduct functional testing troubleshooting pressure/vacuum testing and precision assembly activities on aircraft structures and subassemblies.
Utilize conventional and CNC fastening equipment tooling precision measuring devices and shop mathematics to support manufacturing and assembly operations.
Support continuous production flow by assisting with training cross-training and mentoring of assembly personnel across multiple skill classifications.
Maintain compliance with quality standards tooling certifications preventative maintenance procedures and manufacturing schedules in a fast-paced aerospace production environment.
Requirements:
Experience with aerospace structural assembly installation sealing rigging and inspection operations.
Ability to read and interpret:

Experience using:
Precision measuring instruments
Hand and power tools
Conventional and CNC fastening equipment
Assembly tooling and fixtures
Experience performing:
Structural assembly and installation
Precision bench assembly
Integral fuel cell sealing
Pressure and vacuum testing
Door and subassembly installation
Ability to identify and document manufacturing or engineering discrepancies per procedures.
Knowledge of quality control standards and aerospace manufacturing processes.
Ability to support and train employees in assembly installation and inspection techniques.
Ability to work overtime and support any assigned shift following 1st shift training and certification.
Ability to move products and materials safely within a manufacturing environment using shop
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
SIA qualification or willingness to cross-train into inspection functions.
Experience supporting commercial and defense aerospace manufacturing programs.
Familiarity with preventative maintenance activities on manufacturing equipment and tooling.
