Construction Field Engineer (Heavy Civil)

The Construction Field Engineer supports heavy civil construction projects by assisting with both field operations (layout surveying production) and office tasks (documentation reporting and controls). The role involves coordinating with project teams to keep work on schedule within budget and aligned with quality and safety standards.
Key responsibilities include topographic data collection survey processing line and grade work monitoring production preparing reports and submittals maintaining equipment supporting safety and environmental compliance and reviewing drawings and specifications to ensure accuracy. The role also requires maintaining project documentation and assisting with as-built records.
Candidates should have at least two years of college education in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (bachelors preferred) along with strong communication teamwork and technical skills. Familiarity with CAD Excel and construction management software (e.g. HCSS) is preferred. Travel to project sites is required.
