Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer with deep hands-on expertise in Sales Cloud and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Advanced) to join our growing development team. This role will lead the implementation of a new Salesforce Marketing Cloud instance while also driving ongoing engineering across our Sales Cloud platform.

Youll partner across Marketing Sales Operations and Engineering to deliver scalable solutions that improve customer engagement and marketing workflows (e.g. Pardot Preference Center Campaigns Leads) while enhancing sales execution (e.g. Opportunities Accounts Contacts Case Management and activity management).
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for a seasoned Salesforce developer who enjoys mentoring others collaborating cross-functionally and owning complex implementations and legacy migrations/refactoring.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Cloud Implementation (Lead Role)
Lead the implementation configuration and rollout of Salesforce Marketing Cloud including:
Email Studio
Journey Builder
Automation Studio
Preference Center
Build and optimize Marketing Cloud assets and logic using AMPscript SQL and Marketing Cloud APIs.
Enable and enhance customer engagement journeys segmentation and automation patterns aligned to marketing strategy.
Deliver development across Sales Cloud with emphasis on:
Campaigns Campaign Members Campaign Influence
Lead management (routing lifecycle conversion)
Opportunities Accounts Contacts
Cases and supporting service processes
Activities and data quality improvements
Support marketing-related Salesforce capabilities including Pardot and Preference Center integrations/flows.
Development Automation and Integrations
Design build and maintain Salesforce solutions using:
Apex SOQL Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Flows (and related automation capabilities such as validation rules)
Build and support integrations using established patterns (e.g. REST/SOAP APIs) with external systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud environments.
DevOps Quality and Delivery
Manage work and deployments via Copado CI/CD and Azure DevOps (or similar Agile tooling).
Apply best practices for:
Metadata management
Sandbox strategy
Git branching / release management (Copado)
Copado Robotic Testing
Participate in Agile ceremonies (standups refinement sprint planning) and contribute to technical design discussions.
Assist with legacy system migrations and refactoring older Salesforce components to modern patterns.
Required Qualifications
5 years of Salesforce development experience (Sales Cloud and/or Marketing Cloud).
Strong Sales Cloud expertise with demonstrated work on core objects specifically: Campaign Campaign Member Campaign Influence Lead Contact Account Opportunity
Hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience including: AMPscript SQL APIs and studio tools (Email/Journey/Automation).
Experience with Pardot and marketing workflow enablement (lead lifecycle campaigns preference/data consent management).
Strong development skills in: Apex SOQL LWC and Salesforce automation (e.g. Flows validation rules).
Working knowledge of integration patterns and services: REST/SOAP APIs
Experience with Copado (deployments branching strategy and ideally Robotic Testing).
Familiarity with Azure DevOps (boards repos pipelines) or similar Agile delivery tooling.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
Experience improving data quality campaign management and preference centers at scale.
Experience with legacy Salesforce migrations modernization and platform refactoring.
Strong understanding of data modeling concepts (normalized/dimensional) and how they apply to CRM marketing use cases.
Exposure to test-driven development (TDD) and automated testing practices.
