Job Summary

The Laborer supports the construction installation and maintenance of Fiber telecommunications infrastructure. This role involves physical labor equipment handling and assisting crews in the field. A valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) is required to transport equipment materials and crew safely to job sites. Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the installation and maintenance of Fiber communication systems (cell towers antennas cables and ground equipment)
  • Load transport and unload materials tools and equipment to and from job sites
  • Operate company vehicles including CDL-class trucks in a safe and compliant manner
  • Support crews with ground operations ( site prep cleanup etc.)
  • Perform basic construction tasks such as digging trenching concrete work and site restoration
  • Follow safety protocols including OSHA standards and fall protection guidelines
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
  • Maintain tools equipment and vehicles in good working condition
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrain
  • Travel to job sites as required (may include overnight stays)
Required Qualifications
  • Valid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) (Class A or B depending on employer needs)
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 75 lbs and perform physically demanding work
  • Willingness to work at heights and in outdoor environments
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience in telecommunications construction or utility work
  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification
  • Experience operating heavy equipment (e.g. skid steer bucket truck)
  • Knowledge of RF (radio frequency) equipment and cabling
  • CPR/First Aid certification
Work Environment
  • Outdoor job sites including rooftops and remote tower locations
  • Exposure to weather heights and construction-related hazards
  • Frequent travel required
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand bend climb and lift for extended periods
  • Comfortable working at heights (when required)
  • Manual dexterity to operate tools and equipment
