Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney
Location: San Jose Pleasanton or San Mateo California (Hybrid)
Job Type: Full-Time Direct Hire
Compensation: $200000 $275000 base 10 20% incentive
Seeking a Senior Trust & Estate Litigation Attorney (8 years experience) to handle high-value trust disputes and financial elder abuse cases. This role involves end-to-end litigation management associate mentorship and active contribution to practice growth and client development.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage trust & estate litigation matters from intake through resolution
- Represent clients in financial elder abuse cases
- Handle complex probate and trust disputes
- Manage fiduciary litigation (fraud undue influence breach of fiduciary duty)
- Draft pleadings motions and oversee discovery and trial preparation
- Supervise and mentor junior attorneys and associates
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Support business development and practice expansion
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active California Bar membership (required)
- 8 years of trust & estate litigation experience
- Strong background in probate fiduciary and elder abuse litigation
- Proven litigation negotiation and courtroom skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Demonstrated professionalism and ethical reputation
- Portable book of business (preferred)
