Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Cloud Architect to design implement and manage scalable secure and high-performance cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in GCP services cloud architecture and migration strategies along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Design and architect scalable secure and cost-effective solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
Lead cloud migration strategies (lift-and-shift re-platforming modernization)
Define cloud architecture standards governance and best practices
Collaborate with DevOps engineering and security teams to implement CI/CD pipelines
Ensure high availability disaster recovery and performance optimization
Implement security best practices including IAM encryption and compliance frameworks
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize cloud infrastructure and applications
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
Stay updated with emerging GCP services and cloud trends
Required Skills & Qualifications
8 years of experience in IT with 3 years in cloud architecture
Strong hands-on experience with core GCP services:
Compute: Compute Engine Kubernetes Engine (GKE) Cloud Run
Storage: Cloud Storage Persistent Disks
Databases: BigQuery Cloud SQL Firestore
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Strong knowledge of networking (VPC load balancing DNS VPN Interconnect)
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins GitHub Actions Cloud Build)
Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (Python Java or Go)
Understanding of containerization and orchestration (Docker Kubernetes)
Familiarity with monitoring tools (Cloud Monitoring Prometheus Grafana)
