Job Description:

As a Performance Engineer you will design and implement performance engineering frameworks to ensure applications are scalable stable and highly efficient across both cloud and on premises environments. You will analyze system performance identify bottlenecks and collaborate with development and operations teams to optimize application behavior and reliability throughout the lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement performance engineering processes policies and standards.
• Design and execute performance scalability stress and stability tests.
• Analyze test results to identify bottlenecks and recommend system optimizations.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate performance best practices early in the lifecycle.
• Build and maintain automated performance and reliability testing frameworks.
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues related to CPU memory threads and I/O.
• Utilize monitoring and testing tools to evaluate system performance.
• Maintain documentation and communicate findings to technical and non technical stakeholders.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

• Proven experience in performance engineering and testing lifecycle processes.
• Strong expertise with performance testing and monitoring tools such as JMeter Blazemeter Splunk AppDynamics or ThousandEyes.
• Hands on experience designing and executing automated performance and scalability tests.
• Strong understanding of system architecture operating systems and database performance.
• Ability to troubleshoot performance issues across server and application layers.
• Experience validating performance for cloud based and on premises applications.
• Excellent analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Experience with test data management tools preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $40.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
