Position : .NET Web Architect ()Location : Tallahassee FL Onsite
Duration : 12 Months Contract with possible extension Job Summary
The client is seeking a highly skilled Internet/Web Architect to support enterprise-level web application development system architecture and infrastructure integration initiatives. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring expertise in designing scalable secure and high-performing solutions using technologies. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional IT teams to deliver robust web-based systems within a highly secure compliance-driven government environment. Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement enterprise web architecture aligned with business and technical requirements
- Translate functional requirements into scalable secure and maintainable web solutions
- Develop and maintain applications using C# MVC HTML JavaScript and jQuery
- Ensure seamless integration with existing systems databases and enterprise infrastructure
- Work with SQL Server Oracle databases and Microsoft Azure environments
- Participate in full SDLC activities including design development testing and deployment
- Conduct code reviews and enforce development standards best practices and security guidelines
- Collaborate with infrastructure networking and operations teams
- Follow Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies for project delivery
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation standards and procedures
- Provide regular status updates and ensure accurate time tracking
- 5 7 years of experience in IT with a focus on web architecture and application development
- Strong expertise in C#.NET MVC and enterprise application design
- Proficiency in SQL Server and experience with Oracle databases
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services
- Strong front-end development experience with HTML JavaScript jQuery and responsive design
- Experience with Visual Studio (2012 or later)
- Solid understanding of system integration across multi-platform environments
- Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall SDLC environments
- Proven experience as a technical lead or subject matter expert (SME)
- Excellent communication analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Microsoft tools (Word Excel Visio PowerPoint SharePoint)
- Familiarity with Team Foundation Server (TFS)
- Prior experience working with government or public sector clients
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and unit testing frameworks
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent stakeholder communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on documentation and reporting accuracy
- 100% onsite role in Tallahassee FL
- Work performed in a secure compliance-driven government setting
- Subject to Level 2 background screening
- Must adhere to strict IT security confidentiality and acceptable use policies
- All work activities are monitored and subject to state audit requirements
