About the Role

Ghoman Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team in Indianapolis Indiana. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing architectural designs preparing construction documentation coordinating with consultants and stakeholders and supporting projects from concept through completion.

This is an in-person position requiring close collaboration with project teams consultants contractors and clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise creativity and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts layouts and innovative design solutions.

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings floor plans elevations sections and construction documents.

• Create 3D models renderings and presentation materials for client and project meetings.

• Coordinate with structural civil MEP and specialty consultants.

• Ensure designs comply with local building codes zoning requirements and industry standards.

• Participate in client meetings and present design concepts and project updates.

• Review project specifications and maintain design quality throughout all project phases.

• Support projects from conceptual design through design development and construction documentation.

• Collaborate with project managers contractors consultants and stakeholders.

• Identify and resolve technical and design-related challenges.

• Manage project schedules milestones and deliverables.

• Conduct quality control reviews of drawings and specifications.

• Assist with construction administration and site coordination activities when required.

• Stay current with industry trends construction technologies and sustainable design practices.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Architecture.

• Minimum 5 years of professional architectural experience (Required).

• Proven experience in commercial hospitality residential mixed-use or institutional projects.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating architectural design and technical expertise.

• Experience managing projects from concept through construction documentation.

• Strong knowledge of building systems construction methods materials and detailing.

• Excellent communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced collaborative office environment.

Technical Skills

Candidates must be proficient in:

• AutoCAD

• Revit

• SketchUp

• Lumion

• V-Ray

• Adobe Photoshop

• Adobe InDesign

• Microsoft Office Suite

• BIM Coordination and Documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed Architect or actively pursuing architectural licensure.

• Experience working on large-scale commercial or hospitality projects.

• Knowledge of sustainable design and green building standards.

• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams.

• Familiarity with BIM workflows and project management software.

• Construction administration experience is a plus.
