This is a full-time position following EST business hours Monday through Friday with a half-day shift ending at 1:00 PM on Fridays.
About the role
The Business Development Representative is responsible for identifying opportunities and building and nurturing strategic client relationships for National Search Group Inc. As a brand ambassador you must understand model and represent our core value proposition while establishing trust-based partnerships with key stakeholders and articulating the comprehensive value of our services. This role is vital for driving growth and ensuring a high-performance revenue-driven culture within our global team.
To be successful in this position you must possess verbal excellence and linguistic clarity specifically an exceptional command of Standard American English and a clear neutral accent. This level of communication is essential for maintaining professional credibility and ensuring high-clarity engagement with CEOs Founders and Executive Decision-Makers. Furthermore the ideal candidate demonstrates strong cultural alignment and market insight allowing them to navigate the nuances of the North American professional landscape effectively to establish long-term trust.
Beyond communication you must be a proactive self-starter skilled in navigating complex organizational structures and moving past gatekeepers. By leveraging your cultural fluency and objection-handling expertise you will steer conversations toward desired outcomes and address challenges with a consultative approach. Your ability to navigate the US recruitment market and engage those responsible for signing service agreements will be key to maintaining the high standards of excellence at National Search Group Inc.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Representative (Recruiting / Staffing Industry) :
- Execute brand strategies to ensure a consistent company sales and marketing message.
- Evaluate and understand potential clients needs and requirements
- Continuously develop and maintain productive business relationships with customers to increase access and sales results.
- Provide feedback to Directors / VPs and the President on marketplace trends challenges and product access.
- Collaborate with the Executive Team to establish goals and implement plans to enhance current skill sets and sales results.
- Proven ability to navigate past gatekeepers effectively during cold calling employing strategic communication techniques to secure access to decision-makers.
- Stay current with database information and reporting.
- Problem-solve and present advertising account analysis for new clients
- Assist with demonstrations of the products and company presentations
- Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up outbound cold calls and emails
Requirements: Business Development Representative (Staffing Industry)
- Executive Presence & Verbal Excellence: Exceptional command of Standard American English with a clear neutral accent and a confident articulate speaking style. This is critical for maintaining professional credibility when engaging directly with CEOs Founders and Executive Decision-Makers.
- Strategic Objections & Gatekeeper Navigation: Proven ability to navigate complex organizational structures and move past gatekeepers. You must be skilled at addressing objections in real-time utilizing proactive questioning to steer conversations toward high-value business partnerships.
- Business Acumen & Partnership Focus: Ability to quickly grasp complex recruitment and business concepts expressing them in precise language that resonates with those responsible for signing service agreements. You are not just selling; you are establishing long-term trust and strategic partnerships.
- Proactive & Goal-Oriented Drive: A self-starter who is highly independent and motivated to exceed sales goals. You must possess the High-Energy and Determined mindset required to manage high-volume outreach while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Active Listening & Consultative Selling: Strong listening skills to identify a decision-makers specific challenges and priorities enabling you to tailor our value proposition to their unique organizational needs.
- Technical Readiness: Access to a quiet dedicated workspace equipped with a high-speed internet connection (with backup) a professional-grade headset and a reliable high-performance computer.
- Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in the Recruiting or Staffing industry is highly preferred but not required.
REQUIRED HOURS & EQUIPMENT
- Must be available during normal USA Business Hours.
- Work hours: Monday-Thursday 9 am 6 pm & Fridays 9 am - 1 pm EST.
- Fast and reliable internet connection with power backups.
- Noise-canceling headset.
- No background noise (strict requirement).

- Minimum system requirements: 4.0 GHz dual-core processor 16 GB RAM and the latest version of MS Office installed (Word Excel Outlook PowerPoint). Ideally Windows 10-11 OS.
