Job Summary
Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Laboratory Systems Engineer on behalf of a medical diagnostic company on a permanent basis.
The position will be office-based in Gateshead working Monday Friday.
This role focuses on the implementation integration and troubleshooting of networked laboratory analysers and associated software. The role will also ensure the reliable data flow across database management systems middleware and laboratory information management systems (LIMS) platforms.
This role is ideal for a candidate who understands both infrastructure and how laboratory data would flow between instruments databases and software systems.

Essential skills:
- Strong knowledge of Windows macOS and Linux operating systems.
- Experience with networking concepts (TCP/IP DNS VPN Wi-Fi).
- Familiarity with Active Directory Office 365 and cloud platforms.
- Ability to troubleshoot software applications and hardware components.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with LIMS or laboratory systems
- Experience in medical device/diagnostics environments
