Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced SAP DBM / VMS Consultant to configure implement and support automotive dealership processes within SAP. The candidate will play a key role in vehicle sales service and parts management while ensuring seamless integration with core SAP modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and support SAP DBM (Dealer Business Management) and VMS (Vehicle Management System) processes.
• Manage end-to-end automotive business processes including:
  • Vehicle sales
  • Service management
  • Parts management
• Customize vehicle master data status profiles and business processes.
• Handle procurement warranty management and service operations.
• Integrate SAP DBM/VMS with core SAP modules such as SD MM FI and CRM.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Perform system testing UAT support and post-go-live support.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide L2/L3 support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless business operations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT Computer Science or relevant domain.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP DBM/VMS implementation or support projects.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC or S/4HANA (automotive add-ons).
• Hands-on experience in:
  • Vehicle lifecycle management
  • Service and warranty processes
  • Automotive retail processes
• Good understanding of integration with SD MM FI and CRM modules.
• Experience in configuration testing and support activities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Certifications (Preferred):

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Sales and Distribution (S/4HANA) (e.g. CTS462)
• SAP DBM / VMS-specific training or OEM-recognized certifications

Soft Skills:

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work independently and in team environments
• Client-facing experience is a plus
