Job Summary

ROLE AT A GLANCEThe Internal Communications Specialistis responsible forexecuting internal communications that support organizational priorities enhance employee engagement and ensure consistent messaging across the roleworksboth independently andclosely with leadership Human Resources and cross-functional teams to deliver cleartimely and impactful communications across multiple channels. The position plays a key role in connecting employees to company initiatives programs and leadership YOU WILL DODevelopand execute internal communications plans aligned with business priorities and leadership directionEnsure consistency in tone clarity and brand across all communicationsSupport executive communications including CEO messaging and blog contentAssistwith sensitive communications such as workforce changes and leadership updatesDevelop and deliver communications for HR programs policies and employee initiativesManage recurring communications including announcements milestones and engagement campaignsOversee internal communication channels (email SharePoint Teams digital signageplatform)Lead weekly internal newsletter production and distributionTrack engagement metrics andoptimizecommunication effectivenessOverseeplanning and execution of corporatetown hallsCoordinate messaging across departments to ensure alignment and visibility of key initiativesPartner with stakeholders across the organization to support communication needsWHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE36 years of experience in internal or corporate communicationsExceptionalcopy writing editing and storytelling/creative writingskillsAbility tobalancetasksindependently while also engaging with various internal teamsExperience supporting executive-level communications and handling sensitive messagingStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesProficiencyin Microsoft Office Suite including SharePoint and Microsoft TeamsExperience working with internal communication platforms and digital toolsStrong collaboration and stakeholder management skillsExperience supporting internal events and engagement initiatives is an assetExperience with Canva InDesignor similar design tools is considered an assetLife atWalterFedyAs a national innovative multi-discipline design and construction collective our ambition goes beyond great design we are here to enhance the world around us.
