Powersports Technician

Tom Wood Honda Powersports in Indianapolis INisseekingafull-timeTechnicianto join our team.The ideal candidate issomeone whopossessesa passion for both mechanics and outdoor recreation with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose complex problems on multiple manufacturers products by using latest diagnostic equipment

• Complete complex repairs within timelines specified by the manufacturer and dealership.

• Perform routine maintenance and assembly of new units

• Performadditionalfunctions in the dealership as needed including but not limitedtoservice writing parts counterassistance unit pickup and delivery andassistingapprentice techs as needed

• Attend periodic training in remote locations as well as on-site

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Strong passion for the powersports industry

• Formal training preferably with one of the major metric motorcycle manufacturers and or MMI

• Provendealership experience with their own tools

• Must have a sales and customer service attitude and aptitude and be able to communicate professionally with customers

• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety

• - Valid drivers license with motorcycle endorsement plusacleandriving record
