This role serves as the recognized governance authority and strategic architect for the Oncology portfolio leading highvisibility multidisciplinary governance forums and global congress strategies and ensuring the organization consistently delivers executiveready businesscritical outcomes for senior Oncology Commercial Leadership.

The role requires advanced strategic judgment and critical thinking applying consultative rigor and deep commercial expertise to resolve highly complex crossfunctional business challenges with material impact on Oncology portfolio advancement.

The role operates with broad autonomy and sustained engagement with senior Oncology Commercial Leadership shaping departmental strategy governance standards and operating models that influence how the Oncology portfolio is prioritized governed and executed globally.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Portfolio Governance

  • Provide direct accountability for the endtoend Oncology portfolio governance framework developing and continuously evolving departmentlevel governance strategies decisionrights clarity and operating rhythms aligned to global commercialization priorities.
  • Lead and influence highvisibility governance forums ensuring crossfunctional and seniorlevel stakeholder alignment clear decision outcomes and disciplined execution across multiple Oncology programs and initiatives.
  • Own the strategic integration of governance cadence with enterprise planning cycles including CSRE LTFP and leadership reviews ensuring portfolio decisions are synchronized with global financial and operational planning.
  • Develop and institutionalize enterprisequality governance infrastructure including standardized templates decision logs and performance trackers that enable transparency accountability and executivelevel decisionmaking.
  • Act as a strategic integrator across Oncology portfolio strategy and enterprise governance holding senior crossfunctional partners accountable to timelines commitments and outcomes with visible global impact.

Congress Planning & External Engagements

  • Develop and lead departmentlevel multicongress engagement strategy aligning Oncology brand imperatives with the global congress landscape (e.g. ASCO ESMO ASH AACR) to maximize strategic visibility and commercial impact.
  • Serve as the recognized crossfunctional leader and coordination hub for all Oncology congressrelated commercial activities across GCS ensuring consistent strategic intent and disciplined execution.
  • Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with Medical Affairs US Marketing Market Access and R&D driving integrated planning aligned messaging and cohesive external engagement strategies.
  • Provide financial and operational oversight of Oncology congress budgets and participation models ensuring resource allocation supports departmentlevel priorities and return on investment.

Internal Deliverables & Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Lead highstakes crossfunctional engagement models across Medical Affairs R&D Market Access and Global Marketing ensuring strategic continuity seniorlevel alignment and delivery of complex businesscritical outputs.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Bachelors degree required; MBA strongly preferred
  • 7 - 10 years of applicable experience combining management consulting and biopharma/pharmaceutical commercial leadership
  • Proven ability to design and lead governance structures in complex matrixed organizations
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to craft executive-level deliverables
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
  • Ability to build alignment and influence without authority across cross-functional teams
  • Self-starter who thrives in fast-moving ambiguous environments

Preferred:

  • Oncology commercial experience or familiarity with the oncology competitive landscape
  • Direct experience with congress strategy and execution in a pharmaceutical setting
  • Willingness to travel up to 25 to 30 percent
  • onal metrics and optimization opportunities supporting active marketing process and planning based on operational and strategic data and metrics.
  • Leads and ensures success of market development and product promotional plans budgets programs and objectives through collaboration with other functions.
  • Manages cross-functional launch strategies for new assets including scaling current organization and establishing new capabilities and roles as needed.
  • Governs the development of marketing collateral digital assets and promotional materials to efficiently discuss the companys value proposition to target audiences.

Compensation Overview:

Princeton - NJ - US: $202030 - $244810

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job such as required skills where the job is performed the employees work schedule job-related knowledge and experience. Final individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.

Paid Time Off

  • US Exempt Employees: flexible time off (unlimited with manager approval 11 paid national holidays (not applicable to employees in Phoenix AZ Puerto Rico or Rayzebio employees)

  • Phoenix AZ Puerto Rico and Rayzebio Exempt Non-Exempt Hourly Employees: 160 hours annual paid vacation for new hires with manager approval 11 national holidays and 3 optional holidays

Based on eligibility* additional time off for employees may include unlimited paid sick time up to 2 paid volunteer days per year summer hours flexibility leaves of absence for medical personal parental caregiver bereavement and military needs and an annual Global Shutdown between Christmas and New Years Day.

All global employees full and part-time who are actively employed at and paid directly by BMS at the end of the calendar year are eligible to take advantage of the Global Shutdown.

*Eligibility Disclosure: The summer hours program is for United States (U.S.) office-based employees due to the unique nature of their work. Summer hours are generally not available for field sales and manufacturing operations and may also be limited for the capability centers. Employees in remote-by-design or lab-based roles may be eligible for summer hours depending on the nature of their work and should discuss eligibility with their manager. Employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement should consult that document to determine if they are eligible.
