Job Title: Cardiology Cath Lab Technician (EP Experience Preferred)
Location: Hyannis MA 02601
Duration: 13 Weeks (Potential for Extension)

Position Overview
A leading healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technician with Electrophysiology (EP) experience to support invasive cardiovascular and interventional radiology procedures. This role requires a detail-oriented professional who can work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment while ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during cardiac catheterization EP and interventional procedures (scrubbing circulating monitoring)
- Operate imaging and interventional equipment safely and effectively
- Monitor and document hemodynamic data during procedures
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields and procedural equipment
- Administer contrast media under physician supervision
- Provide patient care including education positioning and comfort
- Safely transfer and position patients for procedures
- Maintain inventory and ensure proper stocking of supplies
- Perform routine equipment checks cleaning and maintenance
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing education
- Support Electrophysiology (EP) program operations as needed
Required Qualifications
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Associates degree in Cardiovascular Technology OR equivalent experience
- Minimum 3 years of Cath Lab experience (if degree not specific)
- RCIS Certification (Required)
- BLS & ACLS Certifications (Required)
- IABP Certification preferred
Electrophysiology (EP) Specialist
- Minimum 5 years of recent EP experience
OR combination of the following certifications: - Cardiac Interventional (CI) Vascular Interventional (VI) or RCIS
- BLS ACLS IABP (Required)
Special Procedures Technologist
Tech I:
- Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT Registered active state license
- 2 years radiology experience or 6 months recent special procedures experience
- BLS ACLS IABP required
Tech II:
- Meets all Tech I requirements
- RCIS / CI / VI certification OR
- 3 years Cath Lab/IR experience OR EP training completion
Tech III:
- Meets all Tech I requirements
- Minimum 5 years EP experience OR
- Multiple advanced certifications (CI VI RCIS EP training)
