Job Summary

CYPHER CELL FTRS SNCO

Unit Role: Exploit information and conduct activity to influence attitudes and behaviours in support of Commando Force operations.

Responsibilities:

1. COMMANDO FORCE (CF) CYPHER CELL SNCO is to advise OC Comms Sqn and the CF Crypto Custodian on all Crypto related matters.

2. Responsible for the management accounting movement and destruction of all CF Cypher Cell holdings iaw JSP 490.

3. Ensure any incident that breaches the Practices Dangerous to Security is managed iaw JSP 490 and JSP 440.

4. Oversee the necessary muster and inspection of the Commando Force Crypto sub-accounts as required.

5. Ensure all ranks within RMB Stonehouse hold the appropriate level of Crypto Authorisation.

6. Deliver Crypto management briefs to all personnel within RMB Stonehouse as required.

7. Act as CF Cypher Cell Alternate Custodian as required.

8. Responsible for the professional development of the Cypher Cell JNCOs.
