The Assistant Program Manager provides direct supervision to residential staff in collaboration with the Program Manager. This position assists with all aspects of site operations including monitoring staff compliance documentation ensuring adherence to agency policy and procedures and promoting an environment that supports client goals and recovery.

East House considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position candidates work experience education/training key skills internal peer equity as well as market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day supervision support and scheduling for Residential Advisors
and Peer Support Specialists.
Monitor daily documentation and shift notes for accuracy and completeness.
Conduct regular supervision and team meetings.
Participate in hiring and onboarding of new staff.
Support and ensure compliance with individual service plans.
Monitor the physical site including cleanliness safety and necessary maintenance.
Participate in incident review response and follow-up.
Facilitate group activities that support recovery and independent living.
Assist clients with activities of daily living as needed.
Maintain collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Other
Ensures compliance with policies federal and state regulations.
Collaborates with the Office of Ethics Compliance & Quality on identifying and correcting non-compliance.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in human service-related field and 2 years related experience; OR
- Equivalent experience in lieu of education may be considered.
Licenses/Certifications
Valid NYS drivers license in good standing and access to a personal vehicle for work-related tasks.
Skills & Abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a culturally diverse environment.
Basic computer literacy and intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word and electronic documentation.
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks.
