Job Summary
We are seeking a skilledElectrical Assemblerto join a premier manufacturing company specializing in custom industrial machinery. They will be responsible for the precision assembly and wiring of complex electrical systems and components. They will be transforming electrical schematics into functional high-quality industrial equipment ensuring every connection meets rigorous safety and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform precise point-to-point wiring and electrical assembly for custom industrial machines.
- Read and interpret complex electrical schematics and wiring diagrams to guide assembly.
- Wire and integrate critical machine components including electrical panels drives and motors.
- Build and install custom cable assemblies according to project specifications.
- Expertly run and route wiring throughout industrial machine frames for clean and safe installations.
- Utilize a variety of hand and power tools to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies.
- Conduct self-inspections to ensure all wiring and assemblies meet strict quality and safety standards.
- Assist engineering and senior technicians with troubleshooting and functional testing of equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to facilitate efficient production flow.
- Document assembly progress and report any material shortages or technical discrepancies.
- Collaborate with mechanical assemblers to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Adhere to all OSHA and company-specific safety protocols within the manufacturing plant.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 2 years of electrical assembly experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Hands-on experience with point-to-point wiring and cable routing
- Expert use of crimpers wire strippers multi-meters and basic power tools
- Open to all education levels with relevant technical experience
- Manual dexterity and the ability to work within industrial machine frames
