The Opportunity
This is not an account management role. This is a true hunter opportunity.
Were looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager who thrives on creating opportunities opening doors and winning new business. Youll take ownership of identifying and securing new customers across the UK driving growth across our extensive portfolio of automation and sensing solutions.

What Youll Be Doing
- Identify target and win new business opportunities across the UK market
- Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy to drive territory growth
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities
- Conduct customer visits technical presentations and solution demonstrations
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless customer engagement
- Use market insights and data to identify trends and sharpen commercial focus
- Accurately forecast sales activity and manage CRM reporting effectively
- Represent Pepperl Fuchs at exhibitions customer events and industry activities
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to uncover new opportunities
What Were Looking For
Proven experience in field-based B2B business development or technical sales
Strong track record of winning new business and delivering sales growth
Experience within factory automation industrial technology sensors manufacturing or a related sector
Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills
Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels from engineers to senior leadership teams
Self-motivated proactive and comfortable managing your own territory
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationally
Most importantly youll bring a hunter mentality someone who sees opportunities where others see obstacles and enjoys the challenge of winning.
