Licensed Practical Nurse LPN, Behavioral Health

Are you a new or seasoned LPN with a passion for behavioral health looking for a PT role At Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) our mission is rooted in empowering individuals and strengthening communities. As a Licensed Practical Nurse youll play a critical role in carrying out that mission by supporting adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities at our warm home-like Adult Crisis Therapeutic Home located in Woodbridge VA.

Position details: Friday and Saturday 11pm-11am

Location: Woodbridge VA

Compensation: $30 - $35 per hour and $5000 sign-on and retention bonus for PT new hires

Your Role in Our Mission

• Provide compassionate medical and nursing support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities and co-occurring behavioral health needs

• Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with clinical protocols

• Conduct nursing assessments

• Educate and empower individuals regarding their mental and physical health

• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated person-centered care

• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of all nursing services and observations

• Uphold compliance with all regulatory and clinical care standards to ensure the highest quality of service

• Competitive hourly salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour for this non-exempt position
• The sign-on and retention bonus is paid out upon successful completion of 90 days 6 months and 1 year

What Were Looking For

• Licensure: Current valid unrestricted licensed as a Practical Nurse in state of Virginia
• Knowledge: MH and I/DD systems of care preferred
• Skills: Strong communication and documentation
• Experience: Crisis prevention and intervention services preferred
• Transportation: A valid drivers license and car insurance for occasional transportation to appointments
