Job Responsibilities
- Manages and leads teams who perform a wide range of duties related to title operations provide support to branches to clear title and focuses on customers
- Partners with and acts as a liaison between groups such as Examining and Underwriting to ensure that compliance policy adherence production goals and timelines are met
- Provides leadership and direction through senior managers or managers
- Is accountable for the performance and results of a major part of the organization
- Develops and executes strategy to achieve key business objectives
- Decisions are guided by Stewart and business unit strategy and objectives
- Applies in-depth knowledge of own function or major operational segment as well as business expertise to differentiate Stewart from the competition
- Impacts results of a business unit major market or enterprise-wide function
- Evaluates key business challenges; directs the development of new or innovative solutions
- Shapes the opinions of and negotiates with senior leaders; establishes collaborative relationships across the business and with external organizations
- Leads a major part of the organization (function or significant market within a business unit or an enterprise-wide sub-function); develops and executes long-term strategy to achieve key business objectives
Education
- Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred
Experience
- Typically requires 10 years of related work experience
