Your Role as an Dietary Aide:
- Support meal preparation setup service and cleanup to ensure residents receive timely appetizing meals in appropriate portions.
- Maintain a clean safe and sanitary dining environment by following all infection control safety sanitation and HIPAA standards.
- Assist residents with menu selections and contribute to a calm supportive and compassionate dining experience.
- Communicate positively with residents families and team members participate in required training and support team needs as assigned.
What Were Looking For:
- Minimum of a 10thgrade education with the ability to read write and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions work independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods; lift push or pull up to 50 lbs; and perform routine movements throughout the shift.
- Emotional resilience and compassion to remain calm and supportive while working with elderly residents in a healthcare environment
