AWC Staff Services are looking for a Civil Site Manager for work with our Client at Iron Acton Substation in Bristol.
To apply for the role you must have been a Civils PCSM for National Grid with NSI 6 & 8 HSG47 Substation Lifting Supervisor Manual Handling.
About the role:
- Day to day management of site operatives subcontractors and site work.
- Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements.
- Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings.
- Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work. - Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.
- Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring timely completion of tasks
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with the contractors client Morrisons staff.
- Attend weekly progress meetings.
- Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
- Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project
- Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labour including a site dairy
- Desirable to already hold SSE authorisation of minimum CAT1C.
