AWC Staff Services are looking for a Civil Site Manager for work with our Client at Iron Acton Substation in Bristol.
To apply for the role you must have been a Civils PCSM for National Grid with NSI 6 & 8 HSG47 Substation Lifting Supervisor Manual Handling.
About the role:
  • Day to day management of site operatives subcontractors and site work.
  • Development and implementation of safety documentation including construction phase plans site quality plans and risk assessments / method statements.
  • Undertake inspections Carry out site inductions Toolbox Talks & Daily Briefings.
  • Prepare daily SSoW and put people to work. - Produce & maintain Site Specific Risk & Method Statements.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules ensuring timely completion of tasks
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with the contractors client Morrisons staff.
  • Attend weekly progress meetings.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise during construction
  • Ensure quality control measures are implemented throughout the project
  • Maintain a high standard of documentation and records of project activities/labour including a site dairy
  • Desirable to already hold SSE authorisation of minimum CAT1C.
Start: ASAP
Duration: 6 Months
Rate: Up to 600 Per Day
