The Group & Event Sales Manager is responsible for driving group catering and event sales to meet revenue targets. This role focuses on building client relationships securing new business maximizing revenue through strategic selling and up-selling and ensuring seamless event execution from contract to completion.
What Youll Do
Sales & Business Development
- Identify solicit and secure new group and catering business.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts and close sales effectively.
Event & Revenue Management
- Manage the full sales cycle including proposals contracts and forecasting.
- Maximize revenue through up-selling of rooms catering and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Banqueting F&B Marketing) for successful event delivery.
- Ensure accurate handover to operations and smooth event execution.
Customer Experience
- Provide exceptional service throughout the client journey.
- Maintain communication with clients before during and after events.
- Handle feedback resolve issues and ensure client satisfaction and repeat business.
Operations & Reporting
- Support budgeting and revenue forecasting.
- Ensure billing accuracy and compliance with company standards.
- Analyze market data and performance to improve results.
What Were Looking For
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales event management or a related field.
- Strong communication negotiation and organizational skills.
- Customer-focused with a results-driven mindset.
