This individual will have proven track records in sales and customer service within the automobile industry and an extensive knowledge of the retail vehicle market. A strong management background with the ability to hire train grow and motivate the sales team is essential to being successful in this position. Sales Manager Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of new and used vehicle department including negotiating sales working deals customer interaction vehicle acquisition and management.
- Manage and oversee internet inquiries and follow up
- Strategize with sales managers to forecast goals and implement objectives for achieving sales and gross profits
- Develop acceptable gross profit margins
- Work with lenders on structuring sales
- Be ethical and transparent in leading operations
- Create a positive and legally compliant working environment and sales culture
Sales Manager Qualifications:
- Proficient in all facets of the new and used car business.
- Hold a working knowledge of automotive systems like ELeads V-auto CDK Dealer Track and other automotive technology system.
- Provide excellent leadership and communication skills
