Job Summary
The Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily restaurant operations leading staff maintaining high food quality and safety standards and delivering an exceptional guest experience.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure smooth service.
- Maintain cleanliness organization and food safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local health regulations.
- Manage inventory ordering and cost controls.
Team Leadership
- Recruit hire train and develop team members.
- Create employee schedules and manage labor costs.
- Coach staff to deliver excellent customer service.
- Foster a positive team-oriented work environment.
Guest Experience
- Ensure every guest receives fast friendly service.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally.
- Build strong relationships with the local community.
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant management experience (3 years preferred).
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with scheduling hiring and team development.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
