Job Summary
HPC Industrial powered by Clean Harbors is looking for a Equipment Operator/ Driver III to join their safety conscious team! The Equipment Operator/ Driver III is responsible to Safely operate DOT regulated Class A or B vehicle. Driver typically loads and unloads the vehicle. Ensures delivery or pickup documentation is accurate and complete. Operate and drive equipment including one or more of the following equipment types: Hot Oiler; Flushby Rod Rig; Coil Tubing; Mulcher Directional Boring Equipment; Directional Monitor Equipment and/or operating and driving equipment in support of the Decoking Pigging Chemical Cleaning or Material Processing including driving equipment to and from worksites performing Pre / Post Trip inspections and performing roadside repairs. May be responsible for the transportation of hazardous waste.

Responsibilities
- Safely operates DOT regulated Class A or B vehicle; completes pre and post trip inspections; Complies with vehicle policy and DOT requirements
- Inspects equipment and general work area prior to starting any job. Corrects deficientness that may cause accidents injuries lost productivity or harm to equipment 10%
- Performs routine maintenance on equipment used on the job 10% O - Occasionally Loads and unloads trucks 10%
- May operate and drive equipment including equipment to and from work sites.
- To support of the Industrial Service Group - May operate one or more of the following equipment types: Hot Oiler; Flushby Rod Rig; Coil Tubing; Mulcher Directional Boring Equipment and Directional Monitor Equipment
- To support of the Specialty Services Group - may operate and drive equipment if you are part of Decoking Pigging Chemical Cleaning or Material Processing.
- May be assigned additional duties not listed above based on business needs
Qualifications
Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;
Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
Valid drivers license CDL Class A and other requirements of companys driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business; Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device;
Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required;
Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers;
Experience operating a vacuum truck;
Working knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.
What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial
High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience;
Class A or B CDL Licenserequired;
HAZMAT and Tanker Endorsements preferred.
