Our client is an international pharmaceutical company. They are seeking a highly experienced Global HR Lead Controller to take on a newly established role at their headquarters. This position is central to enhancing global visibility and standardization across a workforce of over 11000 employees.
Reporting to the Global Business Services Controlling Manager you will serve as the primary Finance Business Partner to the Group HR Compensation team and global functional heads. You will also coordinate a team of three HR Controllers (covering domestic and international affiliates).
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Management: Lead the global planning budgeting forecasting and analysis for all FTEs employee-related costs and HR functional expenses.
- Global Steering: Guide and challenge international affiliates on HR financial matters including merit increases inflationary adjustments and accrual processes.
- Standardization: Develop the Group Functional Cost Controlling Manual and ensure global adherence to IFRS Chart of Accounts across all expense categories.
- Digital Transformation: Contribute to the concept design and implementation of SAP S/4HANA and new global planning/reporting software to drive automation.
- Strategic Business Partnering: Partner with the Group HR Director and Compensation Head to influence operational decisions develop business cases for expansions and support M&A integrations.
- Executive Reporting: Prepare high-level committee materials and data-driven insights for Executive Management to support strategic initiatives.
- Team Coordination: Lead and mentor the HR controlling team at headquarters to ensure departmental success.
Your Profile
- Education: Masters degree in Economics or Business. Professional certifications (ACCA CIMA or CPA) are highly desirable.
- Experience: * A minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in HR Controlling Budgeting or Financial Controlling within a large complex multinational environment.
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial or leadership capacity.
- Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience in calculating complex employment costs benefits and salary packages across multiple international markets.
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in both English and Hungarian is mandatory.
- Competencies: Strong ability to collaborate across diverse disciplines lead through a dotted-line structure and drive efficiency in a transforming corporate environment.
