About the role
Were looking for a Solution Engineer to join our Commercial this role youll help articulate the value of our solution and be part of the pre-sales team as we scale Solutions at Pleo. Who youll be working with and reporting to
Youll report to our Solutions Manager and work closely with teams in Commercial. Our team of 3 is highly collaborative dedicated to accelerating the sales cycle and ensuring continuous product improvement. Youll also have the chance to partner with teams across GTM & Product to ensure success.
What youll be doing
As a Pleo Pre-sales Solution Engineer you will:
Conduct generic or tailored product demonstrations presentations and workshops.
Develop and deliver technical proposals RFPs responses trials and Proof of concepts.
Understand customer objectives technical environment and accounting needs.
Provide feedback and insights to product and engineering teams.
Ensure a smooth transition from pre-sales to implementation or onboarding.
What you bring
Youll thrive in this role if you have:
3 years of experience in a solutions or pre-sales role.
In-depth understanding of B2B SaaS products APIs and relevant technologies including configuration integrations and troubleshooting.
Familiarity with accounting principles & financial workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills attention to detail and the ability to think on your feet during customer interactions or changing requirements.
Excellent planning prioritisation and risk management abilities to handle multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously.
Business fluency in German is a huge bonus
A background in demonstrated success in customer-facing roles and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric mindset.
