The Opportunity:
KBR is committed to growth within the Defence Industry and we are looking to further grow our team in support of delivery across several high-profile Defence projects (specifically within Land Aero Guided Weapons & Joint domains).
We are currently seeking applications from talented professionals (at all levels of experience) for opportunities in the following roles based in Melbourne or Canberra:
- Integrated Logistics Support Manager
- Integrated Logistics Technical Support Manager
- Integrated Logistics Support Officer
- Integrated Logistics Support Specialist/Engineers
- Inventory Controller
- Supply Chain Specialist/Officer
- Procurement and Purchase officer
These roles offer the opportunity to influence procurement strategies streamline supply chains and directly support the sustainment and readiness of Australias land systems capabilities. We are seeking experienced professional with a strong defence background and a passion for delivering complex projects that enhance Australias defence capability.
All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active NV1 Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates who are Australian citizens and holding a minimum active Baseline security clearance should apply.
You must be based in Melbourne or Canberra or willing to relocate to either of these locations upon commencement.
As the ideal candidate you will bring:
- Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management Logistics or equivalent professional qualifications (e.g. MCIPS).
- Minimum 5 years experience preferably within Defence Defence industry primes or complex engineering environments.
- Demonstrated expertise in Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning analysis and execution.
- Supporting development and updating of ILS documentation including a range of technical management strategies logistic plans and instructions.
- Proficiency in ILS tools systems and data management (e.g. MILIS NAVALLOW FMEA RAMS FMECA ERP/SAP etc).
- Excellent organisational time management and prioritisation skills
- High proficiency in MS Office including Excel SharePoint Outlook and Word.
- Strong interpersonal negotiation and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build productive working relationships.
- Professional discreet and collaborative approach with a focus on delivering results in a team environment.
