About the team
We are a fun-loving slightly geeky (okay very geeky) crew of builders thinkers and dad-joke connoisseurs powering the royalty engine behind Amazon Music. Our team thrives at the intersection of music finance and tech and somehow makes spreadsheets and backend systems feel like a jam session.
Were the kind of team that gets excited about automating royalty flows and experimenting with the latest AI tools (yes weve definitely tried asking tools to write our status updates or this brief). We live for that moment when a stakeholder says Whoa this is so much better than before.
No shortage of problems to solve here and no shortage of ideas either. We move fast we learn fast and we never turn down a good brainstorm... or a bad pun.
Why did the royalty system cross the road
To pay the chicken on the other side.
At the end of the day were a team that shows up for each other for our customers and for the pure joy of building something meaningful and having a ridiculous amount of fun doing it.
