The Advancement Operations team has an exciting opening for an AI Enablement & Program Operations is a full-time permanent position.
The AI Enablement & Program Operations Specialist supports the successful responsible adoption of artificial intelligence across University Advancement. This position translates institutional AI strategy into practical people-centered experiences that enable staff to use AI effectively and confidently in their work.
The AI Enablement & Program Operations Specialist helps Advancement staff incorporate AI tools and practices in meaningful ways by facilitating learning sessions developing role-specific resources measuring adoption and impact and serving as a trusted point of contact. Working closely with the Senior Director of Strategic Analytics & Insights and as a key contributor to the Advancement AI Advisory Group this position plays a critical role in advancing organizational readiness alignment and long-term value from AI initiatives.
What You Will Do:
Design and facilitate applied learning sessions workshops and small-group labs that help Advancement staff use AI tools responsibly within their roles.
Develop and maintain role-based playbooks prompt libraries and usage guides tailored to a broad range of Advancement roles and experience levels.
Track adoption patterns gather qualitative feedback and surface what staff need to move from curiosity to confident use.
Help shape agenda priorities and facilitate meetings for Advancements AI Advisory Group synthesizing discussions into actionable recommendations.
Identify and cultivate AI Champions across Advancement building a community of peer advocates who sustain momentum.
Contribute to the UA AI Community of Practice creating content and fostering connection across the division.
Stay current on approved AI tools and evolving institutional guidance bringing relevant updates back to your work and to the people you support.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree AND five years of experience in technology enablement innovation initiatives analytics activation or cross-functional program support.
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements such as a license/certification/registration.
What You Bring:
A strong track record of advancing crossfunctional innovation or transformation initiatives in complex organizations with the ability to move ideas from early exploration into practical operational impact.
Handson experience working with artificial intelligence tools or technologies (including generative AI platforms analytics or datadriven systems) paired with a genuine curiosity about how new capabilities change the way people work.
Exceptional facilitation and communication skills with the ability to adapt complex topics to an approachable and actionable format for nontechnical audiences.
Experience leading productive discussions across diverse stakeholder groups surfacing risks tradeoffs and competing priorities to enable thoughtful wellinformed decisionmaking.
Strong organizational awareness and sound judgment in highvisibility or sensitive environments.
Comfort operating independently and navigating ambiguity applying structured thinking to openended problems measuring your own success and moving initiatives forward.

Hybrid-work schedule with two days in the office per week and three days eligible for telework.
Cubicle/open workspace environment that may result in higher noise levels and visual distractions.
Ability to work evening and weekend hours or adjust in-office days periodically on short or limited notice.
