Job Summary
The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting and driving Quality within Manufacturing operations at A.T. Wall as well as supporting the day-to-day QA Dept functions including inspection and MRB. Focus on targeted Manufacturing Quality objectives with the aim of improving first pass yield repeatability and scrap reduction. Ensuring that products processes and measurement equipment meet established standards of quality safety and performance whilst maintaining compliance with ISO 9001 requirements. Perform internal audits and liaise with Customers Suppliers and thirdparty auditors as needed.
The Technician will also participate in the development of training for manufacturing and QC and Mfg. personnel and work closely with production teams to resolve issues ensure compliance with requirements and contribute to continuous improvement efforts. Strong attention to detail problem-solving skills and knowledge of quality control processes are essential in this position.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Perform inspection duties per Inspection job description.
- Perform in-house testing including but not limited to Hydrostatic testing.
- Perform Gauge calibration per schedule coordinate third party calibrations and maintain calibration records and tracking system.
- Maintain and run MRB Process and ensure items in quarantine are processed in a timely manner.
- Perform review and approve First Article Inspections in accordance with Customer and Industry requirements.
- Perform and document audits of Manufacturing and Support processes in accordance with internal and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Assist in Supplier Quality activities including requesting and administrating supplier qualification / monitoring documentation.
- Assist in production improvement and defect reduction projects as necessary.
- Support and assist in customer and third party audits.
- Identify and assist with training efforts in support of Quality Manufacturing and Compliance objectives.
- Assist with Customer Quality support and requests for information as required.
- Ensure and maintain good record keeping and traceability practices per customer and ISO 9001 requirements.
- Participate in creation and updating of procedures and forms as needed in accordance with Document Control processes.
Relationship Management
- Interface with key departments to determine schedules for shift production and ensure an effective interface is maintained.
- Feedback to the Management team to share ideas and improve operation recommending supporting and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure improvements to optimize results and improve quality of delivery in line with quality standards requirements and delivery in line with Company and Customer requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- CQT Certification required.
- Proven understanding of GD&T for interpretation of engineer drawings and ability to read blueprints.
- Calibration training
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
- Good math and technical skills.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
- Decent understanding of ISO 9001 framework
- Good technical aptitude and understanding of inspection and measurement techniques.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals.
READING SKILLS:
Ability to read write and comprehend materials in English.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral or diagram form.
