Ingredion is seeking a creative and motivated Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Intern to support impactful internal communications and employee engagement initiatives that strengthen our culture and keep employees connected and informed.

As an Internal Communications & Employee Engagement Intern you will support the Human Resources team by designing coordinating and managing internal communication initiatives and employee engagement activities that foster transparency connection and a positive workplace experience.

This role reports to the Senior Specialist Human Resources.

What will you do:

• Support the development planning and execution of internal communications that promote employee engagement and a transparent culture.
• Assist with administrative support for the Human Resources team contributing to daily operations and ongoing projects.
• Maintain and update HR documentation including local policies procedures internal regulations and employee records.
• Help coordinate and organize employee engagement initiatives events and internal activities.
• Support the definition and use of communication channels media and design tools for internal projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure consistent and engaging communication messaging.

What you will bring:

• Active student or recent graduate of a Bachelors or Associate degree.
• Educational background in Business Psychology Human Resources or a creative field such as Communications or Advertising.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel PowerPoint Forms SharePoint MS Teams Outlook MS Stream).
• Experience or familiarity with design tools such as Canva and Photoshop.
• Strong time management skills and a sense of urgency with the ability to turn ideas into action.
