Job Summary
Salary/Position Classification
- $25 hourly Non-Exempt (Eligible for overtime)
- 19 hours per week
- 100% Remote Work Availability: No
- Hybrid Work Availability (requires some time on campus): No
Purpose of Position
To help complete experiments required for a project
Duties & Responsibilities
- Participate in research activities in the Dhasarathy and Brissette laboratories including conducting experiments. Perform research involving biochemistry molecular biology microbiology and cell biology approaches.
- Bioinformatics
Required Competencies
- Experience in Sequencing technologies including ATAC-seq and ChIP-seq
- Experience in R
Minimum Requirements
- Must have at least a bachelors degree
- Bench techniques: electrophoresis PCR analysis of RNA and DNA protein extraction western blot immunoprecipitation and immunofluorescence/ immunohistochemistry
- Expertise in bioinformatics analysis of sequencing data
- Successful completion of a Criminal History Background Check
