Overview:
Our client a highly regarded insurance carrier is seeking an experienced Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster to join their growing team in the greater Boston area. Qualifications/Requirements

• 3 years of experience handling Workers Compensation claims with strong knowledge of Massachusetts jurisdiction
• Active Massachusetts Workers Compensation Adjuster License (or ability to obtain)
• Experience managing litigated claims and working with defense counsel
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and claims evaluation strategies
• Excellent communication negotiation and organizational skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of Massachusetts workers compensation claims from inception through resolution
• Conduct thorough investigations including coverage analysis recorded statements and review of medical documentation
• Evaluate compensability and establish appropriate reserves in accordance with company guidelines
• Coordinate with medical providers legal counsel and vocational experts to drive claim resolution
• Proactively manage litigation and attend hearings mediations and depositions as needed
• Ensure compliance with Massachusetts workers compensation statutes and regulatory requirements
• Maintain consistent communication with insureds claimants and internal stakeholders
• Identify opportunities for cost containment and risk mitigation throughout the life of the claim
