This role is ideal for candidates looking to start a career in construction management engineering support or field inspection. Job Description:
- Assistwith pre-award site visits and contractor coordination including documenting site conditions and taking photographs for the bidding process
- Support the review of project documents and specifications to gain familiarity with construction plans and requirements
- Observe andassistwith daily field activities including monitoring contractor progress quality and safety practices
- Help verify that construction work aligns with approved plans and report any discrepancies to senior staff
- Maintain organized project records including daily logs progress updates photographs and safety documentation
- Track project schedules andassistin monitoring progress against planned timelines
- Support project close-out activities including punch list tracking documentation collection and coordination efforts
Qualifications and Skills:
- 02 years of experience in construction engineering or a related field (internships coursework or hands-on training are acceptable)
- Associates orBachelors degree in Construction Management Engineering or a related discipline preferred (or equivalent technical training)
- Strong willingness to learn take direction and grow in a field environment
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
- Proficiencywith Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook); familiarity with construction or project management software is a plus
- Must currently hold or be able to obtain a Department of Defense Secret-level security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen as this position is not eligible for Limited Access Authorizations
