Physician (Hybrid)

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Experience working with youth and young adults 16 - 24 years old 
• Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses minor injuries accidents and other injuries/ illnesses.
• Perform selected laboratory testing referrals to physicians as needed write prescriptions and perform procedures within the scope of expertise protocols and available equipment.
• Work in collaboration with the facilitys medical director attending physicians and other care providers to provide care and treatment services for all patients.
• Participate in patient assessment and the formulation implementation and monitoring of the care plan.
• Counsels and educations patients regarding their physical or mental health or delegates such education to a competent source.
• Advises patients on how to prevent disease.
• Examine and treat chronic and urgent episodic illnesses minor injuries accidents and other injuries/ illnesses.
• Supports cooperative clinical initiatives.
• Work in collaboration with the facility and other care providers to provide care and treatment services for all patients.
• Hybrid opportunity with a mandatory 20 hours on-site

Qualifications :

Physicians have demanding education and training requirements completing at least four years of undergraduate school four years of medical school and depending on their specialty three to eight years in internship and residency programs.

Qualifications:

• Active unrestricted license to practice in state where facility is located.
• Primary care physician preferred family medicine pediatrics or internal medicine.
• Current DEA registration.
• A valid drivers license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record
