HR Trainee
Job Summary
Based at our Irapuato Plant this is not a traditional HR role. You will be embedded in the heart of our manufacturing operations where precision and efficiency are vital. Your mission is to transform raw industrial HR data into intelligent systems. You will work on the shop floor of digital HRbuilding apps managing databases and implementing AI tools that directly impact our workforces productivity and the plants operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Full-Stack Development: Create and maintain internal web tools and platforms using JavaScript HTML and frameworks (Angular Laravel React) to streamline plant-specific HR processes.
- Data Engineering: Manage and query complex databases (SQL Server NoSQL Oracle Apache) to ensure HR metrics are accurate and real-time.
- Industrial Automation: Develop automated workflows using Python and Microsoft Power Apps to replace manual tracking in areas like shift management training compliance and personnel logistics.
- AI Implementation: Explore and integrate AI tools to predict workforce trends and improve decision-making speed.
- Cloud Integration: Support the migration and management of HR data within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- On-Site Problem Solving: Work directly with plant supervisors and HR partners to identify pain points and deliver technical solutions that work in a 24/7 manufacturing setting.
Qualifications
- Education:
- STRICT REQUIREMENT: Must be a current student in the LAST YEAR (final two semesters) of a B.S. in Information Technology Engineering Computer Systems Engineering Business Intelligence or a closely related field.
- Experience:
- Academic or personal portfolio demonstrating proficiency in coding and database architecture.
- Interest in applying engineering principles to organizational/human challenges.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Languages: Solid foundations in JavaScript HTML Visual and Python.
- Frameworks: Knowledge of Angular Laravel or React.
- Database Management: Proficiency in SQL Server; familiarity with NoSQL Oracle and Apache.
- Cloud & Low Code: Desirable knowledge of GCP and Power Apps.
- Future Tech: Familiarity with AI tools and Data Analytics methodologies.
- Platforms: PowerBi Tableau
- ETL (Extract transform Load)
- Skills:
- Project Management (ability to take a requirement from idea to deployment).
- Advanced mastery of the Office 365 suite.
- Resilience and adaptability to a high-pressure manufacturing environment.
- Storytelling
- Languages:
- English: Intermediate to Advanced (ability to read technical documentation and communicate with global teams).
5. Working Conditions
- Environment: Manufacturing Plant. This role is based at the Ford Irapuato Plant. You will experience the dynamic high-energy atmosphere of an industrial site interacting with both office staff and production floor personnel.
- Work Mode: On-site (consistent with the Irapuato Plant internship program guidelines).
- Physical Effort: Standard office work with occasional walking through the manufacturing facility (requires use of Personal Protective Equipment/PPE where applicable).
- Travel: None required.
