Senior Specialist Manufacturing Engineering – Hydraulic and Industrial Hoses (mfdiverse) REF96495M limited until December 2027

We are seeking a Senior Specialist Manufacturing Engineering Hydraulic and Industrial Hoses to strengthen our Manufacturing Engineering team in Hannover this role you will apply your deep expertise in hose manufacturing to support product and process industrialization drive manufacturing excellence and ensure stable highquality serial production. Working closely with crossfunctional teams you will support the implementation commissioning and rampup of manufacturing processes contributing to robust solutions that meet customer industry and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop optimize and industrialize manufacturing processes and equipment for hydraulic and industrial hoses with a strong focus on stable scalable and costeffective serial production
• Drive process and equipment development across core hose manufacturing technologies including mandrel preparation extrusion braiding cover application assembly curing blowout pressure testing and crimping
• Lead or support product and process industrialization from design release through implementation commissioning production rampup and handover to operations
• Translate product process quality and application requirements into robust manufacturing tooling and line concepts ensuring process capability repeatability and longterm production stability
• Define and review process and equipment specifications and actively support supplier coordination FAT SAT commissioning startup and stabilization of serial production
• Act as a technical expert for hose manufacturing providing handson support during implementation troubleshooting and rampup and ensuring controlled introduction of new products and engineering changes
• Support and guide engineering changes and product modifications ensuring robust industrialization with minimal disruption to ongoing production
• Improve manufacturing performance through structured technical initiatives focused on process capability quality consistency yield cycle time and operational stability
• Support global product launches technology transfer standardization and continuous improvement contributing to harmonized manufacturing and industrialization practices across production sites

Qualifications :

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering Manufacturing Engineering Materials Engineering Chemistry or a comparable discipline
• Long-term years of experience in manufacturing engineering process engineering and/or product and process industrialization preferably in hydraulic and industrial hose manufacturing
• Proven indepth expertise in hose products and manufacturing processes including implementation commissioning and serial production rampup
• Strong understanding of industrial machinery tooling and production equipment used in hose manufacturing including critical process parameters and machine setup
• Experience in defining reviewing and implementing process and equipment specifications and supporting FAT SAT commissioning and production startup activities
• Ability to work closely with plants suppliers and crossfunctional teams during implementation commissioning and stabilization phases
• Strong analytical and structured problemsolving skills in complex manufacturing and industrialization environments
• High level of ownership and technical leadership; ability to operate independently at senior level
• fluent in English (written and spoken)
• willingness to travel to production facilities worldwide- (40-50%)
